Since 1985, the Port Barre Cracklin
Festival has served as a major fundraiser for the Port Barre Lions Club. One of
the club’s largest charity donations is to the Louisiana Eye Foundation, which
helps people who are in need of eyeglasses or eye surgery but are unable to
afford care.
